The CAT Digital Marketplace provides information on Caterpillar and dealer developed web-based and mobile applications. If you can't find the application you need, the Marketplace also provides developer the resources to leverage CAT APIs within your own applications.
We are constantly working to improve the experience and introduce new features each month. Here is what we've been up to lately!
Release 1.03- March 28, 2022
Digital Marketplace Application Release 1.03
- API Explorer- New environment tags have been added to API Product cards indicating whether an API is in the production or sandbox environment. This allows developers to initially request access to APIs in the sandbox to read and write test records without impacting production data.
- Support for Customer ISO API Requests- Dealers may now requests access to the ISO telematics API for their customers. Click on the "API Product Subscription Request - Customer Assist" link from the ISO 15143-3 (AEMP 2.0) API subscription form.

- CVA Registration API- Provides dealers the ability to manage customer value agreements
Digital Marketplace Application Release 1.02
- API Usage Metrics- Now you can view your usage of APIs from individual subscriptions or aggregated across your application team. Check successful or blocked calls and bandwidth for simple troubleshooting.
- Improved Site search capabilities- if you know what you're looking for type the name of the application, API or knowledge topic into the search bar and get to your desired information in 3 clicks!
- API Version Badges- Sometimes, we'll have multiple versions of APIs listed in our API Explorer- i.e. production, beta, sandbox (for writing test records). We now indicate the API version with a tag in the corner to make it easier to identify.
- Getting ready for UI enhancements- we have implemented new tagging behind the scenes. This will be leveraged soon in an upcoming release to bring APIs and their related documentation together in a simplified view.
- Subscription improvements- New Subscription form available to request access to APIs on behalf of corporate account customers.
- Minor changes and enhancements- other miscellaneous fixes, and changes to improve performance.
Release 1.01- January 24, 2022
Digital Marketplace Application Release 1.01
- Dealer API Subscriptions- New dealer subscription form to subscribe to APIs. This will eventually replace standalone subscription requests as well as requests from dealer.cat.com/dev and dev.cat.com,
- Subscription Tracking- Now you can view new and existing API subscriptions from your profile.
- Site search capabilities- New site search to search full site available from menu bar and home page.
- Minor changes and enhancements- other miscellaneous fixes, security enhancements and changes to improve performance.
